I’d like to invite you to take ANTH 469: Ethnobotany, this coming spring semester. It is a rarely taught class, so you may want to take it while it is available!
Course: ANTH 469: Ethnobotany

Room: Haury Anthropology Building, Room 215
Description: Ethnobotany is the study of the relationships between people and plants from the distant past to the present, focusing on the role of culture as the mediator in these relationships. Ethnobotanists draw upon all subfields of anthropology to explore: Origins and Early Development of Agriculture, Industrialized Agriculture, Seed Saving, Food Security, Intellectual Property Rights, Plants.
