Dear students,
If you are a junior or senior with interest in Integrated Pest Management, please consider inquiring about a (summer?) job opportunity in Entomology. Mike Irwin, a research scientist in the Entomology Dept. is seeking help from an undergraduate to complete a literature review on the subject for a book chapter. Jeanne Pfander from the Library has offered her support for the student taking the job. If interested please let me know or contact Jeanne directly at: jpfander at email.arizona.edu<mailto:jpfander at email.arizona.edu>
Best wishes,
Prof. Quist

Subject: looking for student to help with literature review
Tanya and/or Ramin - Mike Irwin, Entomology research scientist, is co-authoring (with Wendy Moore, Associate Professor, Entomology) an introductory chapter in a book on advances in integrated pest management (IPM). He asked me to help him find a student to hire to assist with the literature review.
We are thinking an upper-level undergrad or early stage grad student might be the best to recruit. As the librarian working with CALS departments, I would be available to consult on databases, search strategies and citation management tools for this project.
Mike’s timeline is pretty short and I know with the end of the semester and students leaving for the summer, it might be hard to identify a student who is available.
Any ideas/suggestions? If you know a student who might be appropriate, please have them contact me or Mike.
Thanks for any help you can provide.
-Jeanne
