I have new client, who grows strawberries and organic cool season vegetables. This client has strawberry and caneberry contracts with Driscoll’s, which has required them to do trials with field-substrate farming. My client is looking for a young CCA or Agronomist who has experience with substrate farming.   My client is finding that his production staff, with standard field production experience, is not really qualified to assist with substrate farming. Do AU or ASU have programs that might produce a student or a young professional who has experience or training for hyroponics, aquaculture, or substrate farming? An added bonus, the young professional wouldpossesses sound knowledge in nutrient management to assist with collecting and tracking information to meet water quality regulatory requirements.
