Proven Winners® Scholarship Program

[Proven Winners Scholarship program]We are once again offering the Proven Winners Scholarship program this year.  We very much appreciate all that you do to help educate the next generation of horticulturists. Your help in spreading the word about this opportunity is key to reaching as many students as possible.

I wanted to send everyone a quick reminder that applications for the Proven Winners Scholarship Program are due on April 15th.  We do get the vast majority of applications in the week before the application deadline.  There's still time, but it is running out.

As are reminder, here are the full details:

We are proud to announce that we’re currently accepting applications for our 2018 Proven Winners® scholarship program. This is the fourth year that we are awarding at least $25,000 in scholarships to students at 4-year Universities and Technical/Community colleges.

Students who are sophomores or above, who maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or better (on a four point scale) are eligible for the 4-year scholarships.

Students entering or enrolled in Technical and Community colleges who maintain a GPA of 3.0 or higher (on a four point scale) are eligible for the Technical/Community college scholarships.

Applications are due no later than April 15, 2018.

We would appreciate your help in distributing the information on this scholarship program to the students at your institution, as well as prospective students for the Technical/Community college scholarships.  We believe that we are stronger as an industry if we can support students interested in working in horticulture.
