The BIO5 Ambassadors Internship is an unpaid, semester-long opportunity for undergraduate students of the University of Arizona. Not only will these students assist the Public Affairs Team of the BIO5 Institute with their marketing initiatives, coordinating events, and leading tours, but the interns will also be given the opportunity to design and execute projects using the marketing skills the students will learn by working with the PA Team. This internship hopes to provide a connection between science and business, while giving students the opportunity to personalize the internship to their own interests. By the end of the semester, interns will get the opportunity to continue their experience and work their way up to a potential job opportunity.

Over the course of the internship, the interns will:

· Receive hands-on marketing experience

· Develop public speaking skills

· Learn how to pitch ideas

· Build connections with researchers and business personnel

· Personalize your experience to what you want to learn more about

The application is now open, but closing TOMORROW. Please visit our website<http://www.bio5.org/outreach/bio5-ambassadors#overlay-context=student-engagement> for details on the application process.
