The Bio/Diversity Project<http://wise.arizona.edu/the-biodiversity-project> is a University of Arizona internship program that is run through the Women in Science and Engineering program. It is designed to promote the entry and success of underrepresented groups in the environmental science fields. The internship provides outdoor educational opportunities for K-12 youth and will also offer targeted training and mentorship opportunities for university level students.

Any UA student can participate in this internship, and can receive 3-units of academic credit through one of the following departments:

  *   Geography and Development
  *   Natural Resources and the Environment
  *   Soil, Water and Environmental Science
  *   Sustainable Built Environments
  *   Teaching, Learning and Sociocultural Studies
  *   Gender and Women's Studies
  *   General Studies
  *   UA Honors College

Students who are interested in applying to the Bio/Diversity Project should complete the following steps by December 15th:
