I am sending this email as a means of polling student interest in attending an informative event in Phoenix that may provide networking and professional development opportunity for students in Sustainable Plant  Systems and Plant Sciences. The event will be held in Tempe Dec. 4th from 7:30am-3:00pm.

Please reply to this email to express interest by 5pm  Monday Nov. 13. If there is sufficient interest expressed, I will coordinate your travel plans.

Everyone -


There's an opportunity to send 23 students to the Arizona Agribusiness Roundtable in Tempe on Monday, December 4.  This is a day-long event and the theme this year is "A National Perspective on Agriculture: The Farm Bill and You."  Their cost of admission would be covered and this includes two meals.  If you want to organize this and get a group of students to this event - whether you organize a bus or have students carpool to Tempe - please let me know by close of business tomorrow.
