Monsanto is currently seeking a highly motivated Controlled Environment Physiology Research Associate with the ability to work as a member of the Controlled Environment Physiology Team within the Trait Testing Program at our Chesterfield (St. Louis, Mo) research facility. This facility is currently undergoing a multimillion dollar expansion that is doubling lab space, adding 36 new greenhouses and 13 growth chambers. We are looking for top talent to GROW WITH US!
As a Research Associate, you will be front and center for the latest breakthroughs in agronomic research. This team specifically works on Phase I & II R&D experiments within our Corn & Soybean microbial, yield and agronomic traits programs.
A successful applicant will contribute to the planning, coordination and execution of physiology experiments sponsored by both early and advanced phase projects. You will split your time between the office, the lab and in the greenhouse/growth chamber.
This is a controlled environment oriented position with responsibilities that include:
* Execution of high quality experiments
* Accurate data collection
* Sample collection
* Training and supervision of temporary employees
* Adherence to safety and compliance standards
