[Plsugs] STUDENT JOB - Dr. Judith Brown Laboratory

Dr. Judith Brown is seeking two student workers (undergraduate or graduate) immediately for volunteer or hourly  paid work on projects in her laboratory. These student positions will assist the full time laboratory technician on projects relating to algae biofuels and higher order insect identification on field samples with help from a taxonomist.

Specific skills preferred for the Algae position include:

*         General laboratory maintenance

*         Sterile technique

*         Media preparation

Specific skills preferred for the Insect Identification position:

*         Entomology course work

*         Some interest in plant-feeding insects

Students may continue the work in the summer or fall as independent study or directed research.
