I am writing to announce the following course that is relevant to you. PLS359 is required for Plant Sciences majors and also fills upper division and elective credit for Sustainable Plant Systems majors.
PLS 359 (3 credits) Plant Cell Structure and function (online section), Winter Session: This 3 credit, upper division plant biology course will be available for students in the winter session. This is an online only course. Lectures will be available as podcast recordings. Students will work with an unknown drought tolerant or drought susceptible mutant in Arabidopsis and perform various cell biological, molecular biology, plant biology techniques to study the mutant and identify the mutation in a gene that is important for drought tolerance.
