1.       Seed Corn Project  --  This is the biggest concern and need.  One or more students dedicated to helping the Seed Corn Project. Motivated to become a researcher in the future for crop production.  Highly dependable and competent to attend to the strict timing of pollination required for a successful project. $10 hourly



2.       Hydroponic Lettuce  --  One student interested in hydroponic production of lettuce within the greenhouse.  The student will help construct, operate and maintain the lettuce within floating bed [raft system] production.  A great hands-on opportunity. Also the student will become a part of an educational program in January at CEAC for other growers based on this lettuce production technique. $8 hourly or by experience


3.       Mars-Lunar Greenhouse  --  One student for learning to maintain a recirculation hydroponic plant growing system with the Mars-Lunar Greenhouse.  Should have primary focus on growing plants, but also attempt to understand and maintain the technology that supports the plant growth. Must have ready access to facility at Roger/Campbell. $8 hourly


4.       Vegetable Seedling Production Project  --  one student to help in the rigorous testing of numerous soil media for the production of lettuce, broccoli and tomato seedlings.  Daily visits required.  Heavy workloads during seeding and harvest.  $8 hourly or by experience
