Dear students,

Please consider the attached opportunity to work with the National Phenology Network this Fall 2016. We are seeking students to lead campus tours and provide training to community members who are interested in collecting plant phenology observations. Phenology looks at the seasonal changes in the timing of plant development as a powerful tool in monitoring climate change. If you are interested in learning more, please contact the NPN Education Coordinator, LoriAnne Barnett (contact Phone: (520) 621-1803 | Email: lorianne at usanpn.org<mailto:lorianne at usanpn.org>). She will be training new volunteers on Monday morning, 8/8, out at the Krutch Garden on the UA Mall. Continued work with the program would be suitable as internship credit.
