[Plsugs] OPPOTUNITY - Chihuahuan Desert BioBlitz

The Asombro Institute for Science Education is hosting a BioBlitz at our Chihuahuan Desert Nature Park in Las Cruces, NM on Saturday, September 19, 2015.

The BioBlitz has three goals:
*         Increase public awareness of (a) the diversity of plants, animals, and geology in our area and (b) the methods scientists use to survey and study this diversity,
*         Start an inventory of species at the Chihuahuan Desert Nature Park,
*         Create an event that allows people to interact with scientists and participate in scientific endeavors with them.
