Location: Riverbank, CA
Salary: $60,000 - $75,000

Our client is a is a leader in agricultural testing and is an accredited environmental testing laboratory with several locations in the United States.

They strive to conveniently provide analytical services to clients in the western states, Hawaii, the Pacific Rim and Asia.

Due to a retirement, there is an immediate need for an experienced agronomist to join their team near Riverbank CA.

The Agronomist will:

  *   Review all data submitted by the lab for soil, plant and water reports
  *   Make soil fertility recommendations for crop production from soil analysis data
  *   Have heavy phone contact with clients regarding crop production questions and amending soils for crop production
  *   Publish a quarterly newsletter
  *   Prepare and present power point presentations to various groups
  *   Update crop production information as necessary
  *   Attend trade shows and be available to clients and prospective clients
  *   Assist with ongoing development of Laboratory Information Management System
  *   Assist with various other project related to agronomy.
  *   They need to hire an individual for this position as soon as possible so s/he has maximum exposure to their systems and time with the retiring agronomist.
