[Plsugs] Fwd: New IT resource for students

Students need to use technology to accomplish a variety of administrative and academic functions at the university - registering for classes, viewing grades online, getting email communications from the Bursar’s Office, taking online quizzes on D2L, viewing lectures using lecture capture software, engaging in online discussions….and the list goes on.

A critical part of our job is to ensure students have access to the right technology resources when they need them to successfully navigate their academic career.

To assist our students, University Information Technology Services (UITS) has just launched studenttech.arizona.edu<http://studenttech.arizona.edu/> as a one-stop website to inform students about the support, hardware, software, training, and more that are available on campus. We’ll be promoting the updated, mobile responsive website to our new students attending orientations over the summer, and we appreciate all members of the campus community guiding students to the new website when they need more information about campus IT resources.

We will continue to add information to the Student Tech website as new IT resources and services become available, including information about online learning and cloud-based services for students. Do you have other suggestions for information, resources or services that should be included on this website? Or ideas for promoting campus IT services to students?
