“Monarch Butterfly Recovery from a Milkweed's Point of View”
Thursday Dec 10, 12pm Herbarium (Herring Hall).
Gary Nabhan is the Kellogg Endowed Chair in Sustainable Food Systems at the UA Southwest Center and co-founder of "Make Way for Monarchs", a milkweed-butterfly recovery alliance of botanists, farmers, poets, artists and educators. His presentation will cover a white paper on "Monarch Habitat Restoration" and his new "Milkweeds of the Southwest," co-written with Steve Buckley, Heather Dial & others for NRCS. Herbarium Holiday Party

Come for the talk, stay for the treats! The annual UA Herbarium Holiday Party will commence right after the talk.
