Hello everyone,

There will be a group of greenhouse controlled environment industry people at CEAC on Friday, Dec 4th.  We have arranged for an informal student/industry reception with light food/drink at the CEAC Classroom from 3:00 - 4:00pm.

All students.  This is your invitation to the UA-CEAC Reception with the Horticultural Distributors Alliance

The HDA, Horticultural Distributors Alliance, a group of greenhouse controlled environment industry companies will be meeting at CEAC on Friday, Dec 4th.
There will be an informal student/industry reception with light food/drink at the CEAC Classroom (Campbell ave at Roger Rd) at 3:00 - 4:00pm.
This would be in advance of the Professor Fritz Schroeder seminar from 4:00 - 5:30pm also to be held in the CEAC Classroom.
Each person will have the opportunity to introduce themselves.  The industry people [8 or so] will tell what they do. The students can speak about their academic programs and future goals within the CEA industry.

We would like to invite all students who may have future interests in the Greenhouse service industry and also in the Greenhouse floral and food production industry.
These companies do not necessarily hire growers, but their clients do, and making personal references/relationship can be helpful.  They do hire people for sales and for project development.
Thus plant production students as well as engineering students and agricultural production students in general might benefit from this event.

The reception will include food and drink, and time for networking in the classroom.
Then, a seminar by Professor Fritz Schroeder will be provided from 4:00 - 5:30pm, also in the classroom.
All students are welcome.
