For those of you currently involved in research, here’s an opportunity not to pass up!
Vision to Your Future is a free annual event sponsored by the Department of Molecular and Cellular Biology and School of Plant Sciences to help high school junior and seniors, community college students, and their instructors learn more about the opportunities that the University of Arizona offers in the study of the biological sciences. A main highlight for its visitors is the undergraduate poster session which showcases our students' work. Visiting high school and community college students are most excited to see the research our students are doing and learn about how to get involved!
This year, Vision To Your Future will be held on Saturday, October 18, 2014, from 10AM to 12PM on the University of Arizona Main Campus. We invite our PLS students to submit an abstract for consideration for this poster session; it is a wonderful opportunity to hone your presentation skills and to supplement your resume! (Plus, we will have delicious, free refreshments!) For more information on Vision To Your Future, or to submit your abstract, please visit http://www.mcb.arizona.edu/vision-to-your-future. The deadline for abstract submissions is September 30.
Please get your advisor permission before submitting an abstract!
If you have any questions about the Vision To Your Future Undergraduate Poster Session, please feel free to e-mail me at rpalaniv at email.arizona.edu<mailto:rpalaniv at email.arizona.edu>
Thanks, and we look forward to receiving your abstract!
