NATIONAL STUDENT EXCHANGE:
An Exciting Engagement Opportunity for UA Undergraduates

The University of Arizona (UA) has been a member of the National Student Exchange (NSE) consortium since 1997. This domestic exchange program allows undergraduates to pay tuition at UA while visiting one of 189 participating institutions within the United States, Canada, Puerto Rico, Guam, and the Virgin Islands.

Why NSE? Students apply to NSE to experience new environments while accessing new courses, participating in internships/service learning opportunities, looking for work in desirable job markets, and exploring graduate and professional school options. Past participants have traveled to Quebec and Puerto Rico to strengthen French and Spanish language skills; others have taken marine biology classes in Rhode Island, California and Hawaii; while Africana Studies students have explored U.S. history and the Civil Rights era at Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs). NSE has high satisfaction and placement rates, with participants reporting increased decision-making skills, flexibility, confidence and independence.

Who is Eligible? Applications are being accepted for the 2015-16 academic year at: http://nse.arizona.edu/. Freshmen, sophomores, and juniors with a 2.5 or higher GPA are encouraged to apply. Students with UA-specific financial aid (grants, scholarships, tuition waivers) can use these funds to support a semester or year-long NSE experience. All majors are welcome.

Questions/Referrals: Inquiries and referrals should be sent to ArizonaNSE at gmail.com<mailto:ArizonaNSE at gmail.com>, 520-626-7475 and weekly information sessions take place each Thursday at 1:30pm-2:30pm, Student Union Memorial Center.
