My husband and I purchased a condo for our daughter who attends UofA at the Historically landmarked El Encanto Condominiums at 2820 E. 6th St.  The HOA asked me to be a part of the garden committee.  The condos have been struggling with keeping the landscaping since the passing of a gardener that worked there for many years. With many students in the facility and the UofA so close I suggested that there may be an opportunity for an interested student to help us determine what kinds of plants are best to plant in certain areas and how to properly care for the existing plants. Many of the plants have been there for numerous years and are not doing very well.  I am not sure if this may be an applicable opportunity for a student, but felt it was worth an inquiry with a resource like the UofA in our back yard.  Thank you for reading and considering.
