To all,
"Earthlight" Documentary that has been created from the AZ Space Grant Lunar Greenhouse program and supported by UA-CEAC will debut at Tucson's Loft Cinema [Speedway Blvd, east of Country Club] Wednesday May 7th at 7:30pm.
You must reserve a seat in advance [see details below]! Or, http://cals.arizona.edu/earthlight
Your attendance [and your friends, too] would be very much appreciated to this very special event......think about it, how often does a movie documentary come out of a University research grant project?
After the showing, you are invited to the Red Garter [walk to it just west of the Cinema on Speedway] for a celebration of this achievement.
RSVP as described below. Get tickets and meet at Loft and then the Red Garter.

Subject: [Earthlight] "Earthlight" Documentary has reached a major milestone with your support! Host a showing . . .
Hello Earthlight Supporters!
We have some very big news this week. In recent months, I have been speaking with Arizona Public Media (AZPM) about the Earthlight documentary and I very pleased to announce that they have pledged their support and will air the documentary at a date TBD, probably in late July. They are also interested in producing a companion studio discussion that will air with the documentary and will feature a panel of highly respected scientists and experts. Now that Earthlight has the support of AZPM, we should all be very excited that our present and future efforts to get the word out and build a national audience will also be met with enthusiasm and support.
Next week will also be an exciting milestone. The Loft Cinema will be showing a special pre-release version of the documentary on May 7 (wed) at 7:30 pm. The film will be followed by a Q&A with the scientists and will be open to the public. I encourage you to purchase tickets a head of time to ensure you have a seat http://www.loftcinema.com/film/earthlight/ and RSVP https://www.facebook.com/events/520423138066865/ If there is a lot of interest from the public, there will be a second showing at 8:30. Before and during the showing, encourage your network of friends and family to tweet about the pre-release party using #EarthlightLoft
However, we still need your help! I would like to invite everyone to sign up to host a viewing party (http:/cals.arizona.edu/earthlight), either a private showing for friends and family, or a public showing at a home or a larger venue you may know about. I will be happy to send a free BluRay to you along with information and other materials. This can be as easy as emailing your local art theater or a group of cinema lovers that you know of and I can take it from there. Several people have signed up already, but we need get as many showings in as many places as we can. Can you help? Can you at least host a small showing at your home?

Finally, some of you may have missed that we have released another scene from the documentary titled "Life in Lunar Greenhouse." http://youtu.be/TVOSGkdgeYE Please, enjoy watching the clip and then be sure to e-mail, post, or show this new scene to as many people as you can! We're counting on you.
Thanks so much for the support,
Cody
