HI Everyone,

Here is a very exciting opportunity for students who might be interested in
a summer research internship. Please share with students as appropriate
also please let them know that they should have their resume and cover
letter reviewed during walk-in hours at UA Career Services before applying
for any internship or full time position.

Thanks,

Kyle

Summary of Internship Program

At the Translational Genomics Research Institute (TGen), our flagship
internship program is Helios Scholars at TGen. This is a paid, full-time
summer internship in which students work on an authentic biomedical research
project under the mentorship of at TGen scientist. Interns attend
professional development seminars that inform their future career choices
and sharpen their science communication skills. At the end of the summer,
the interns present their work at an Intern Symposium to a diverse audience.
While we accept students from high school through grad/med school, the
program is primarily for undergraduates.
