If you plan on graduating (at any point), please read this...

Please file for degree candidacy the term prior to when you plan to graduate (preferably, not required, after you have registered for your final term). Students DO NOT need to have their CLEP or other pending transfer coursework in the system to file. If you wait to receive CLEP or transfer credit work you may incur a $50 late application fee. Your major advisor and graduation services advisors will make notes on your application to indicate pending coursework and put you in the cue to participate in graduation.

Degree Candidacy application deadlines to avoid late fee:
February 1 for May and August (summer)
September 1 for December and January (winter)

*If the deadline falls on a weekend it defaults to the following business day on Monday (i.e. Feb. 1 this year fell on a Saturday so the deadline was Feb. 3). I will keep you apprised of any changes (we are lucky to have Julie in our office - we get update notifications quickly).

Best,
Nancy
