[Plsugs] FW: Agriculture Entrepreneurship Opportunity

The McGuire Entrepreneurship Program is looking for bright, driven
agriculture students interested in joining the next generation of
entrepreneurs. Students who benefit the most from our program want to learn
how to solve problems, commercialize research, advance innovation or start
businesses. We can't think of a more perfect fit than your Sustainable Plant
Systems and Plant Sciences students! 

 

The McGuire Program is a year-long experiential learning program that
provides the training necessary to turn an early-stage idea into a
launchable venture. Agriculture students who have gone through our
top-ranked program in the past have been very successful. Some have gone on
to launch startups while others have found that the entrepreneurial and
innovative skills they develop through our curriculum gives them an
advantage in today's competitive job market. 

 

We will begin accepting applications this Fall for the 2014-2015 academic
year and we would like to make sure agriculture students know that the
McGuire Program is open to them. I've attached a PDF of our flyer and I
would be happy to bring some hard copies to your office. Please share them
with any of your students who you think would benefit from our program. We
believe the McGuire Program curriculum is a natural fit and a beneficial
opportunity for agriculture students interested in innovation and
entrepreneurship. If you have any questions about the McGuire Program,
please don't hesitate to let me know. I would be happy to come speak with
you or the other agriculture advisors in person.
