Would anyone be interested in a Spanish language translate job for one full
day [8am - 5pm] next Wednesday, May 29th at the Windmill Inn [Campbell &
River]?
You would be working for Mr James Kleinke V.P. Agricultural and
Horticultural Divisions of the Schaefer Fan Company [a greenhouse and animal
housing components supply company].
You would be translating during presentations at a morning meeting, then
translating during tours at the CEAC in the afternoon.
See the details from James in the messages below.
Let me know. ASAP. 'gene giacomelli' giacomel at ag.arizona.edu

James,
I can be available to meet on the afternoon of Wednesday May 29th at the
CEAC.
I will look for a student to translate Spanish to English.
When specifically and for how long do you need the translation? Is it just
when visiting CEAC in the afternoon? Or is it in the morning, too, at the
Windmill inn?
We generally pay our students about $10 per hour for the research work, and
translators could be justified to be a bit more. What do you think is a
fair hourly wage?

Dr. Giacomelli
I will be visiting AZ to train my dealers on Schaefer Ventilation and our
product line. One of my dealers has begun to build greenhouses and I would
like to have then tour your facility. It is owner and 3 of his sales team.
I have visited with Dr Rorabaugh and she is available on May 29th. I will
conduct training in the A.M.at the Windmill Inn and would like to tour a
facility in the afternoon. Will that work to introduce them to you and will
you be able to join us? Dr Rorabaugh is available that day. My dealer and
his team are not bilingual and I do not speak Spanish so I have asked for a
student that I can hire for the day. I am still looking for someone at this
time. I would also like to tour Wholesome Farms. I have called them but I
have not heard back at this time. If you know of a contact that would be
great.
If you can join us or assist me in any of these request please contact me.
I appreciate the opportunity to see the facility again.
Kindest Regards;
James Kleinke
