Have you ever wondered.

Why do animals and other organisms sometimes compete and sometimes
cooperate?

How do organisms in groups interact, how do they organize themselves or make
group decisions?

ECOL 280- Sociobiology and Evolution of Cooperation

Tier 2 NATS (Natural Science General Education course)

MWF 10-10:50 am

The course will explore the diversity of social behavior in primates and
other mammals, as well as in birds, fish, social insects, and others. You
will learn how evolution and ecology shape behavior, and we will also
discuss what biology can teach us about our own (human) behavior and
societies. This is a Tier 2 Gen Ed NATS class. No prerequisites.

Check out the course website for more information-
