My name is Aaron Thompson, and I am a volunteer with the Student Sierra
Coalition. Each year we host summer programs or SPROGS around the country,
and about 200 youth go through this week long program each year to learn
about environmental issues and environmental organization/campaign planning.
I am contacting you today to see if you, or other students would be
interested in attending this program. The Southwest SPROG will be held
August 11-18 in San Diego, California. You will be able to learn about
topics such as strategy and campaign planning, working with the media,
effective facilitation for meetings and groups, grassroots outreach, and
much more. This is an amazing opportunity to gain leadership experience, and
to enhance the work that your organization does. You can apply at
http://ssc.org/sprog. If you have any questions please let me know. You can
also find more information at the website above.
Thank you,
Aaron M. Thompson
