Let me know if you qualify for this scholarship before April 14th. 

 

As in previous years, the Seed Trade Association of Arizona (STAA) and the
American Seed Trade Association (ASTA) are providing joint scholarship
funding in the amount of $4,000 for a student/students in the College of
Agriculture and Life Sciences for the 2013-2014 academic year. The criteria
established by the STAA state the awards be funded to a student who:

 

.         Is a graduate of an Arizona high school

.         Has upper division status

.         Majors in some aspect of crop, soil or environmental sciences,
including crop production

 

If you have a student or students who qualify for this scholarship, please
let me know by April 15, 2013. The STAA would like to have the identity of
the recipient(s) in time to invite them to attend the annual STAA convention
in early May 2013 so they may be recognized by the STAA representatives.
