Applying to UBRP? There are things you should know!
One of the most important parts of the application for the Undergraduate
Biology Research Program (UBRP) is the personal statement. What you include
in the personal statement and how you present yourself is vitally important.
This session is intended to provide information that can help you prepare a
competitive UBRP application.
Tuesday, December 4 at 4 pm in Life Sciences South, room 240. Open to all.
Refreshments served.
Plan to attend!
UBRP offers paid undergraduate research experiences and that the deadline
for the summer positions is February 1. The application (and other
information) is available on line at http://ubrp.arizona.edu
One of the most important parts of the application is a personal statement.
Students who haven't written one of these before can have difficulty putting
together a statement that is competitive so we have decided to offer a
couple of sessions on writing a personal statement.
