Considering a Pre-Session Summer 2012 course?
AREC 496A: Structure, Management, and Performance of American Agriculture.
In this course students will learn about microeconomic topics related to the
structure and management of large, highly sophisticated agricultural
operations. During week 2 of the course, students will travel to
California's San Joaquin Valley and to the Port of Los Angeles for a hands
on experience in American agriculture.
AREC 496A would be a great choice for students interested in earning Upper
Division Electives this summer! There is a $100 fee attached to this course
in order to help with the transportation costs. Motel rooms and some meals
are provided by sponsors. We need at least 20 students to register for this
course or it will have to be canceled. Please see the attached flier for
more information.
Thank you!
