Good Morning,

The Town of Oro Valley has received grant funding to develop a tree
management plan in the Town right of ways and parks.  Ultimately, this will
help the Town manage its landscape operations more efficiently.  The first
step in the management plan is to perform a complete or sample tree
inventory which includes identifying tree types and conducting health
assessments.  We are looking for Volunteers to conduct the inventory and
assessment.

 

We appreciate any assistance with notifying individuals in your network
about the Tree Assessment and Inventory opportunity.  If possible, please
post the attached flyer with further details.  

 

Work begins this month and may continue through February 2013.  Work days
and hours may be flexible but must meet schedule requirements (minimum of 16
hours per week).

 

The Volunteer coordinator for this project is James Gardner, Parks Manager.
