Subject: STAA-ASTA SCHOLARSHIP

 

As in previous years, the Seed Trade Association of Arizona (STAA) and the
American Seed Trade Association (ASTA) are providing joint scholarship
funding in the amount of $4,000 for a student or students in the College of
Agriculture and Life Sciences for the 2012-2013 academic year. The criteria
established by the STAA state the awards be funded to a student who:

 

.         Is a graduate of an Arizona high school

.         Has upper division status

.         Majors in some aspect of crop, soil or environmental sciences,
including crop production

 

If you have a student or students who qualify for this scholarship, please
let me know as soon as possible. The STAA would like to have the identity of
the recipient(s) in time to invite them to attend the annual STAA convention
in early May 2012.
