[Plsugs] BIO5 Ambassadors Fall 2012 Kickoff Mtg 9/7 & Blood Drive 9/11

The BIO5 Ambassadors' first meeting of the semester is Friday, September
7th!

We are currently recruiting new members interested in the five disciplines
of BIO5 research:

.         Medicine

.         Engineering

.         Agriculture

.         Pharmacy

.         Basic Sciences

 The BIO5 Ambassadors are an interdisciplinary science club that promotes
science literacy through education and community outreach.  

We provide opportunities for lab tours at the BIO5 Institute, science
outreach activities at local schools, a pen pal program with elementary
school students, and community science outreach at sites like BioSphere2.  

Since the BIO5 Ambassadors are affiliated with the BIO5 Institute, members
are often the first to know about employment and research opportunities.
This is also a great opportunity to network with Scientists in and around
Tucson!
