Crop Science and Production (PL S 306) will be offered on the UA campus on
Fridays 12:00 to 2:50 p.m. in Marley 230 and will be delivered as a
live-interactive course to the Central Arizona College and Arizona Western
College campuses.  Several field trips will also be conducted on Friday
afternoons. The course involves an introduction to the basic principles and
practices of crop management.  Many examples and applications are provided
for irrigated systems in arid and semiarid conditions.

Course Objective:
 
Develop an understanding of the basic principles associated with crop
production systems. Fundamental agronomic crop and soil science concepts and
practices will be presented to a broad range of plant production systems.
