Undergraduate Research Opportunities Consortium

 

The Graduate College offers a wide range of  undergraduate research 

opportunities to help you prepare for graduate school. These year-round 

or summer-only paid research  experiences will connect you to meaningful 

research projects, faculty mentors and a cohort of like-minded students 

whose goal is to pursue master's and Ph.D. degrees.  Additionally, you 

will receive intensive, personalized preparation for the graduate admission 

process including workshops to prepare for the GRE.  These programs 

culminate in an annual professional research conference.

Typical Eligibility Requirements:

. undergraduate junior or senior (minimum of 75- 85 units  completed)

. underrepresented in UA graduate education

. US citizen or permanent resident 

. 3.0 cumulative GPA or above

. Strong interest in pursuing graduate education, particularly in earning a
master's or Ph.D.
