all ten chapters of the book as we discuss the ways in which trees are inferred as well as their applications in various biological disciplines. Each week student groups will present the major topics of a chapter followed by in depth discussion of the issues
raised. This will be a fun opportunity to ensure you are well versed in the interpretation of phylogenetic trees and how they can inform your work. Keep in mind, this is not a phylogenetic biology class, but an in-depth survey. Please consider registering
for PLS 595B-001! We recommend purchasing the book before the semester begins. Soft covers are available online through multiple vendors. Meeting time will be determined by a WhenIsGood poll once registration is complete. See the attached flyer.
