these situations can be challenging, and the impact of unconscious bias may make the outcomes more difficult or less effective. While unconscious bias is not intentionally malicious, it can certainly get in the way of our best efforts to promote and leverage
the benefits of diversity as well as the impact of the work we do. This workshop will examine how unconscious bias can influence the workplace and classroom and how graduate students can respond. We will share research-based strategies for addressing unconscious
biases and micro-aggressions, and we will explore strategies that reduce the impact of our own unconscious biases.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
