<div dir="ltr">Dear SPLS Grad Students,<br><br>In an effort to revamp the SPLS Graduate Student Club, we will be having our second meeting this <b>Friday (6/29) from 11:00 am to 12:30 pm in Marley 441H.  </b><br><br>In this meeting, I will present my goals for the Grad Club in the upcoming year including: <br><br>

<span style="font-size:12.8px;text-decoration-style:initial;text-decoration-color:initial;float:none;display:inline">1.) Resolving student issues (notably pay)<span> </span></span><br style="font-size:12.8px;text-decoration-style:initial;text-decoration-color:initial"><span style="font-size:12.8px;text-decoration-style:initial;text-decoration-color:initial;float:none;display:inline">2.) Establishing monthly social events </span><br style="font-size:12.8px;text-decoration-style:initial;text-decoration-color:initial"><span style="font-size:12.8px;text-decoration-style:initial;text-decoration-color:initial;float:none;display:inline">3.) Promoting community and educational outreach</span> <br>4.) Securing club funding<br><br>Attendance and participation at this meeting is critical for the success of the club, and so we encourage everyone to come!  Pizza and zucchini noodle salad will be provided.  Please also come with any ideas you may have for social events or community service activities.  <br><br>Also, there is still an open spot for secretary, so please let me know if you are interested.  The secretary position will involve taking attendance and meeting notes.<br><br>Best,<br>Nick Desnoyer</div>
