 Associate on a fixed term basis  from September 2018 until 28 February 2020, to contribute to the innovative and cutting-edge ESRC funded ‘Social inequalities in educational attainment: an investigation into the mediating role of school absenteeism’ project.
 This secondary data analysis project will draw on the rich Scottish Longitudinal Study to investigate whether different forms of school absenteeism such as truancy contribute to explaining social inequalities in educational attainment and post school destinations. 
 It will further explore whether family background moderates the relationship between school absenteeism, educational attainment and post-school destinations.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
