All,

Below is a doodle poll link to sign up for an outreach opportunity at the International Wildlife Museum. We have been asked to promote the plant sciences by staffing a booth and talking to people about plants or the plant pathogenic agents that we study. This event is on Saturday March 7th from 10AM to 2PM. Please sign up for one or more 2 hour slots. The times start at 9AM and end at 3PM to account for set-up and tear-down.

This will be an excellent opportunity to disseminate information about your research to a broad audience. This sort of outreach is looked highly upon in funding proposals and can be included in your CV.

In the recent past there has only been a small group of people that have been willing to staff these sort of events, and that is unfortunate. Please consider participating so that we can spread the workload and add diversity to the aspects of plant science we are sharing with the public.

http://doodle.com/guwniavv6x2frke4

Thank you,

Lauren

--

Lauren W.
