Hello everyone,<br><br>As I am sure you are all aware, classes will be starting soon.  In addition, many of the new graduate students in our department have already begun to arrive.  I would like to ask you all to consider joining the new students for some light food, refreshments, and social activity this Friday (Aug 17) at 5ish (after the new student orientation).  I am open to suggestions about where to go, but considering the closure of Z's, I was thinking Gentle Ben's, Wilco, or Auld Dubliner (just email me your preference and I will shoot out an email on <b>Wednesday</b>).  Bellow is a link to a doodle poll, please mark if you would be willing to come.<br>
