It's a great chance to gain the sort of teaching, communication, and instruction skills that will help those with a future in academia, extension, outreach, industry and agriculture. <br><br>PLP 699<br>Teaching in Plant-Microbe Interactions<br>One credit<br>Instructor: Betsy Arnold<br><br>PLP 699 is a new course for graduate students interested in exploring and applying excellence in <span class=il>teaching</span>. We will meet once weekly to discuss current views regarding best practices in <span class=il>teaching</span> at the college and graduate levels; develop <span class=il>teaching</span> portfolios and <span class=il>teaching</span> statements relevant for academic job-searches; and explore the principles of pedagogy.
