If your research interests are in the areas of evolutionary, functional, or computational genomics, we invite you to apply for an IGERT fellowship. <o:p></o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal><span style='font-size:12.0pt'><o:p> </o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal><span style='font-size:12.0pt'>The IGERT Program in Genomics is a unique interdisciplinary training opportunity. Students in this program earn their Ph.D. in their respective departments but participate in various program activities, including interdisciplinary mentoring from U of A faculty, courses in genomics, training in cutting edge genomics technologies, international symposia, discussion groups, and ethics training. Current students are eligible for one-year awards which provide a stipend of $30,000 plus out-of-state tuition waivers and research and travel funds.
