[Plsgs] SAPPS Meeting

Hello SPLS graduate students,

I am unfortunately gone this week for the APS Pacific Division meeting and
will not return until after our normal meeting time tomorrow. There are
three things on the agenda that I would like to inform you all of:

1. Tomorrow is the Plant Sciences Salon (3-4pm), the flyer is attached
below with meeting information. I encourage all to attend, and to upload
any accomplishments for a shout out at the meeting.
2. April 4th we will be having an event at Borderlands downtown starting at
5pm. Please bring cards or board games. They have a food truck on site, and
karaoke that night if anyone is interested.
3. In our last meeting we discussed hosting a time for graduate students to
meet up weekly to work on writing, give presentations for feedback, or
finish some grading. S/O to Alyssa for coming up with this idea! I have
discussed this with Dr. Orbach, and am attaching a when to meet below.
Please fill this out, so I can determine when to book a room for our weekly
writing time. On the days I attend, I will try to get access to the coffee
machine so we have some on site.

As always I appreciate all participation in our community building events.
Please try to make it to the plant salon tomorrow, as well as our game
night on April 4th.
