[Plsgs] SAPPS Meeting Times

Hello SPLS graduate students,

Thank you to all who filled out the meeting times form. Our next meeting
will be on *Friday, January 31st, at 4pm*. This meeting will be
recurring on the last Friday of each month, and I will be sending out
reminders a week prior to each meeting. In this meeting, we will be
assigning senior graduate students as mentors to our new graduate students
to help guide them during this transitional period, discussing graduate
student interests, and social activities for mingling opportunities with
faculty. If you are interested in being a mentor/mentee, please let me know
and I will find someone who is suitable to your interests.

We will also be extending an invitation to our interim director Dr. Betsy
Arnold, so I encourage all students to be there. I hope everyone had a nice
break and a happy new year.
