[Plsgs] Upcoming Graduate Recruitment - Your Participation Requested

Hi All,

First, let me apologize for the late notification regarding the timing of
our graduate recruitment. As you know, the shifting budget landscape at the
University and unit have made planning the event challenging. I want to
thank all of you who responded to the earlier poll about recruitment dates.
The second most popular dates for recruitment were March 14-16th. The
exciting news is that this coming Thursday and Friday we will be visited by
seven outstanding candidates for admission and I'm writing to let you know
how you can participate in recruitment events. Below is the itinerary *with
specific graduate student events highlighted in blue text*. To help gauge

Keenia and I are also looking for a couple of volunteers to lead a
campus/facilities/streetcar tour on Friday afternoon following lunch. There
is a lot of flexibility for the tour and volunteers can organize
alternatives or keep the group together. The idea is to show students our
vibrant and interesting campus/city. If you'd like to volunteer, please

*6:00 PM - Dinner Dr. Beilstein's home (Tucson Tamales - faculty, current
