[Plsgs] Fees for S24 term

Dear SPLS Grad students,

We are writing to let you know that SPLS has provided funds to cover
semester fees for graduate students in the PLS and PLP programs. These
funds were entered into the compensation system last week and should hit
(or possibly have already hit) your Bursar's account. If you have not yet
paid semester fees, the funds deposited to your account should cover these
fees in their entirety. If you have already paid the fees, the Bursar will
send you any remaining balance in your account as a physical check (sent to
the address for you that they have on file), or disburse the funds through
direct deposit (if you have set this up with the Bursar). Please check your
Bursar account and let Keenia and me know if you have questions or concerns.

Starting in F24, fees will no longer be assessed on graduate students.
Thus, moving forward you won't have to worry about covering the fees
payment.

I hope this bit of good news helps in the face of the recent concerns many
of you expressed regarding School leadership.
