[Plsgs] The Scholar Power Hour Invite

Dear Graduate Students,

I received a request to invite you to the following event:

Calling all Graduate Students! We are the Scholar Power Hour and we would like you to come be a part of an insightful discussion amongst other graduate students.

Briefly, the Scholar Power Hour is an event that gathers graduate students of diverse disciplines to have a centralized discussion on a given theme. The hope is to obtain different perspectives on a certain issue so we can all gain insight on a particular topic through our own diverse areas of expertise.

The Scholar Power Hour takes place every other Monday at the graduate center (Cherry & 1st). The first meeting will be on September 25th and the topic will be on whether Football is too violent. The list of topics and more information can be found on the attached flyer. Feel free to stick around and socialize with other grad students after the event as well! Undergrads and professional students are also welcome! Please note, the room is limited to 24 occupants, but all else will be invited via zoom!
