All sessions will be 9-11 am (MST) on Tuesday. Sessions will be offered in hybrid format: we will be in the Data Studios of the Main Library<https://new.library.arizona.edu/visit/spaces/data-studio> and running a concurrent Zoom session at https://arizona.zoom.us/j/437855363. To get the most out of these workshops, participants should bring a laptop with R and RStudio installed<https://jcoliver.github.io/learn-r/000-setup-instructions.html>.
* April 04: Open R lab: Bring your R questions or just come in to write some code.
* April 11: Interactive web apps with Shiny: The Shiny package for R provides a way to transform your R code into interactive applications accessible through a web browser. This lesson provides a hands-on example of how you can use Shiny to create intuitive graphical user interfaces.
* April 18: Open R lab.
* April 25: Your first species distribution model: Predicting ranges of species from latitude and longitude coordinates has become increasingly easier with a suite of R packages. This introductory tutorial will show you how to turn your coordinate data into a range map.
