Dear students:
I'd like to remind you of the PLS seminar to be given this Tuesday by Dr. Charles Cannon, Director of the Tree Science Center at the Morton Arboretum. This arboretum, located in Lisle, Illinois, is one of the largest in the US (1,700 acres)! Dr. Cannon is an expert in many aspects of tree science, and an entertaining speaker. Opportunities exist for paid internships at the arboretum!
The seminar is at 4pm on Tuesday in 230 Marley, with refreshments at 3:30 pm in the Marley atrium. It is entitled: "Understanding and sustaining adaptive capacity of trees in the Anthropocene".
I hope to see you there!
